Welcome Ali!

We are excited to add another coach to our staff, Allison "Ali" Scaife. She will be coaching the 6pm Barbell Class on Monday's and Tuesday's. Not only does she move well and lift a ton, she also has a great eye for coaching.

ALLISON "ALI" SCAIFE

Occupation:  Landscape Architect and Interior Designer

Education: B.S. Plant Science and Construction Management, Masters of Landscape Architecture, The University of Arizona

Certifications: 

  • CrossFit Level 1
  • USA Diving Coach (10+ years experience)
  • CPR/First Aid

  • Captain of The University of Arizona Diving Team 2007-2009
  • PAC 10 Team Champion Swimming and Diving 2006, 2007, 2008
  • NCAA D1 Team Champion Swimming and Diving 2008
  • Head Coach for the Tucson Diving Team 2009-2015
  • Future Olympic Force Coach USA Diving 2012-2015
  • Olympic Performance Squad Coach USA Diving 2014-2015

Ali was introduced to CrossFit in 2012 by her former diving coach.  "I thought my athletic career was over when college ended and it has been so great to find a sport to stay active and competitive in long term.  The best thing about CrossFit has to be the community, it is like being on a team again.  Everyday people push you, cheer for you, and support you; there really is no better feeling than that."  Ali wanted to share this community with others and in 2013 received her L1.
