10 dumbbell snatches

50 dumbbell snatches

Men use 50-lb. dumbbell and 24-in. box

Forest Fire: 

We are excited to announce that we've decided to have the first Forest Fire of 2017 at RSM!! (that's tomorrow if you are reading this on Thursday night). 

We are going to experiment with canceling classes at the other location Friday night. This week that means this Friday night's classes will be canceled at Lake Forest. 

For the new folks, we run the CrossFit Open on Friday nights in a heat-style format and call it the Forest Fire. RSM will be open at 3:30pm to get ready for the first heat to go at 4pm. Given the workout has a 20 minute time cap and doesn't require much setup, we will have heats start every 25 minutes. 

You can stop by the gym to sign up for a heat time early or have a friend do it for you. Please don't ask the coaches to sign you up for a heat time. 

If you participate in a heat, we also expect you to be a judge in return. 

We will also be doing the 17.1 as the WOD for the morning through noon classes at both locations on Friday. 

If Friday doesn't work for you, or you want to take another stab at this one, you are welcome to do so during Saturday's classes on the side, during open gym on Sunday and during non-class times on Monday until 4pm. Just bring your own judge. The internal facebook group is a great place to coordinate. Please be considerate and respectful of the classes on Saturday and Sunday.
