Notes Athletes with an established 1RM snatch should start at 80%. Athletes without an established 1RM should start at a weight they could comfortably triple with good mechanics. Add weight by feel, but the task today is to complete 8 good sets, not to hit a max.

1 Squat Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Split Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 Use the heaviest weight you can for each set. Rest as needed between sets.

Clean + Front Squat + Jerk 8x1 Notes Athletes with an established 1RM clean & jerk should start at 80%. Athletes without an established 1RM should start at a weight they could comfortably triple (in the C&J, not necessarily this complex) with good mechanics. Add weight by feel, but the task today is to complete 8 good sets, not to hit a max.

The conference will feature an introduction from CrossFit Founder Greg Glassman, and lectures by legendary sport scientist, Professor Tim Noakes, orthopaedic surgeon and founder of the Diabetes & Health Research Centre, Dr. Gary Fettke, and Dr. Jeff Glassman, CrossFit Chief Scientist.
