The Open begins tomorrow! Starting at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, Feb. 22, Director of the CrossFit Games Dave Castro will announce one Open workout per week via live announcement from various locations around the world. We’ll start Week 1 in São Paulo, Brazil, and the last announcement will broadcast at 5 p.m. PT on March 22, live from Reykjavik, Iceland. In between, we’ll visit Pennsylvania, Texas and Arizona.
Shortly after each announcement, CrossFit athletes will compete head-to-head to set the scores to beat for the week’s challenge. Read more hereto find out who will be appearing where.
Just like in past years, the live announcements will be streamed right here on Games.CrossFit.com, and you can also watch on the CrossFit Games Facebook page (details below). Tune in at 4:45 p.m. PT to catch the pre-show each week, and be ready for the live announcement at 5. After the competition, don’t miss workout tips from Director of Training and Certification Nicole Carroll, as well as the Cool Down Show, where you’ll hear from the week’s athletes, Castro and the fans.
